Derek Senior Graduation - May 2013
Where has the time gone....
I cannot believe it is already time for Derek to Graduate High School. Oh how the time has flown. On Thursday, May 23, 2013 at 7:00 PM Derek will graduation from Northwest Christian School. Derek is graduating with honors and will be attending Grand Canyon University in the fall to study Sports Medicine. Derek hopes to become a Sports Trainer at high school or college, or even with a professional sports team.
Derek spent the first three years of his high school career at Joy Christian School. For his Senior year he transfered to Northwest Christian School along with his brother Justin. Throughout High School Derek was an honor student. He played several sports including football (all 4 years), baseball (all 4 years), wrestling (sophomore and senior year), basketball (his freshman year), and soccer (his junior year). In his Senior year Derek's football team won the State Championship!
It is Derek's love of sports that lead him to choose his major of Sports Medicine. This will allow Derek to stay involved with sports while being able to help other people.
